
In a recent article published by Malmö University, the incredible work of the Community Support Center (CSC-Asbl) in using sports to combat trauma and strengthen relationships among displaced populations in South Kivu, DR Congo, is highlighted. Founded in 2016 by Byolenganya Olo Bernoulli, CSC-Asbl focuses on empowering vulnerable women and children through various programs, with a strong emphasis on sports as a healing and unifying tool.

The P4PM program leverages sports like soccer, table tennis, and local games to improve social-emotional health and foster social cohesion. These activities also promote gender equality by creating safe spaces for girls to build confidence and leadership skills.
